Government fees are gone; our fee depends on the stage
Once a government fee has been paid to an authority it belongs to that authority, not to us, and it is not refundable by us at any stage. This is true of every consultant in Dubai, and it is the single most important line on this page.
Our service fee is a different matter, and it depends on how far the work has gone.
Three stages
Before we start. You have accepted a quotation but we have not begun. Full refund of our service fee.
Work begun, nothing submitted. Documents checked, forms prepared, typing done. We keep a fair share for the work actually done and refund the rest, itemised so you can see what you are paying for.
Submitted to the authority. The service fee is earned once a file is lodged, because the work is done. If a file is then rejected we will tell you why and what it would take to resubmit.
Our mistake, our cost
If an application fails because of an error we made, we correct it and resubmit at our own cost, and we pay any resubmission fee ourselves. You are not asked to pay twice for the same work.
If a file fails because a document you supplied was wrong, incomplete or out of date, the resubmission is chargeable.
Asking for a refund
Ask us in writing, on WhatsApp or by email, and say which file it concerns. We reply with a written breakdown of what was paid, what was spent and what is being returned, and pay it back by the same method you used.
